The scammers try to use Team Viewer and similar programs to access the computers of their "victims." But the remote access programs can only be used when the computer operator/owner agrees to give the third party access to the computer by providing the Microsoft only calls persons regarding computer issues when that person has initiated contact with Microsoft via MS We are hearing of "scammers" calling persons and claiming to be representatives of Microsoft who want to "fix" their computers.
